With roots in Madagascar and Laos, Maoli started as processors of natural materials such as wood, bamboo, and leather. Following original collections of distinct furniture, Maoli initiated production in Italy which added functional expression to the company’s traditional practices. In 2007, the business was presented with the Good Design Award.
